Middletown Police report the following incidents:
FIRST-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS — On Dec. 25, police were called to a home on Butternut Street for an unwanted person. The report says Andrew Baczewski, 48, of no certain address, Burlington, had been escorted from the apartment on Dec. 24 and asked to to return. Baczewski told police he had nowhere else to go. During processing, the report says, he alluded to hurting himself because he had not been taking his medication. Officers admitted him to Middlesex Hospital.
OPERATION UNDER SUSPENSION — On Dec. 23, Jermaine Dozier, 37, of Pomeroy Place was driving a Dodge Magnum on Pearl when an officer saw him roll through the Grand Street stop sign, the report says, and had an improper cover on his license plate. The report says he was arrested for operating under suspension in October 2010 and July 2009.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On Dec. 24 at 10 a.m., Middletown officers picked up Michael Aaron Perdue, 19, of Second Avenue, West Haven, from the West Haven Police on an outstanding warrant.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, FAILURE TO HAVE HEAD LAMPS — On Dec. 22 at 6:14 p.m., Jason Niro, 38, of East Lake Drive was driving a Nissan Altima at Tuttle Road and East Street with a headlight out. The report says his license was suspended since Oct. 31, but Niro told officers he believed he had until January to pay a $150 fee before the suspension took effect.
IMPROPER USE OF MARKER PLATE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, POSSESSION LESS THAN HALF-OUNCE MARIJUANA — On Dec. 19 at 10:35 p.m., Hector Miranda, 22, of George Street, New Haven, was driving an Acura on South Main Street without headlights on. The report says the plates belonged to a Honda Civic.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — On Dec. 19 at 7:41 p.m., Janet M. Roberts, 26, of Liberty Street was driving on East Main Street and took a left on red, according to the report. Her mother was in the backseat. Police say she received a ticket for the same offense in February and in May.
OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, POSSESSION LESS THAN HALF-OUNCE MARIJUANA — On Dec. 12 at 7:37 p.m., Michael Holness, 37, of Grand Street was driving a Honda Civic on Main Street and found with four baggage of marijuana totaling 3.7 grams.
OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, FAILURE TO HAVE HEAD LAMPS, DRINKING WHILE DRIVING — On Dec. 11, Nicholas J. Waite, 21, of Third Avenue, Higganum, was driving a Dodge Durango on Main Street with a headlight out. The report says the officer stopped him at the Irving Gas Station on East Main Street and saw an open 12 ounce bottle of Busch Lite beer in the center console, however, Waite was not drunk.
