Beginning January 1, the city’s warming center will move from its’ current location at the First Baptist Church to the Church of the Holy Trinity, 381 Main Street. The warming center will be open to the public seven days a week from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM.
Although not a shelter, the warming center provides hot beverages and a temporary respite from the cold for those in need.
The warming center is sponsored by the Mayor’s Taskforce on Homelessness with funding provided by the City of Middletown, St. Pius Church, Middlesex Hospital, Liberty Bank and Seasons Federal Credit Union.
