Middletown police report the following arrests:

Jan. 17

FIRST- AND SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 11:45 p.m., Christopher Copeland, 22, of West Shore Drive, Haddam, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 16

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 3:52 p.m., police were called to a home on Prospect Street about a domestic dispute. Allanah Earley, 40, of Prospect Street and her sister Crystal S. Hintz, 49, had fought with their 4- and 6-year-old children present after drinking to intoxication at the Hair of the Dog Saloon, the report says. Hintz said Earley hit her in the forehead, then, the report says, Earley's child's father said he had pulled Earley off her sister earlier. Both were arrested. 

INTERFERING WITH OFFICER — Antonio Roots, 24, of various shelters in Middletown, was found at 6:43 p.m. at the Russell Library on Broad Street sleeping in the basement, the report says. He wouldn't tell police who he was and wouldn't leave, then gave two different last names, the report indicates. He gave a birth date of April 17, 1988, but wasn't sure if it was right, police say.

Jan. 15

INTERFERING WITH AN OFFICER — At 1:15 p.m, police were called to Wadsworth Street about a gunshot and found a Toyota Camry parked on the road with the passenger side door open. The report says the driver was wanted for questioning by Cromwell Police about a 12:30 p.m. incident. Gordon M. Levy, 22, of Pine Street was found in the seat, the report says, and became physically and verbally aggressive toward officers. Levy had a small knife and cell phone in his pockets after he said, "I don't care why you're here, I'm in my car doing nothing." The report says he clenched his fists, saying, "I'm a citizen, you can't handcuff me for no [expletive] reason, then refused to answer if he had been in Cromwell earlier.

OPERATION WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, INTERFERING WITH AN OFFICER — At 6:37 p.m., Eliberto Lautaro, 31, of Spring Street was driving a car that drove into a fence on Spring Street, according to the report, but told police his wife was driving it and had left. Police determined he was not married and he had a license suspended since 2008.

Jan. 13

USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES — At 10:10 a.m., Kelly Randazzo, 41, of Main Street, Portland, was driving  Hyundai Santa Fe on Berlin Street and told officers she was buying ice cream for her sick daughter, then said she was picking up medication the report says. After being questioned by officers, Randazzo admitted to buying heroin. A search revealed 7 wax bags of heroin of which she admitted using three from a man named Bones, that she met near Stonecrest Drive. The report says she had two hypodermic needles in her boot.

Jan. 12

OPERATION WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 9 p.m., Anthony T. Kelly, 29, of Bank Street, Waterbury, was driving a Mercedes C Class on Westfield Street.
