Middletown Police report the following incidents:
Jan. 27
FAILURE TO RESPOND — Police were called to Route 9 North near Exit 15 to help Connecticut State Police with Christopher J. Millette, 25, of Hillside Avenue whom they found, the report says, walking on the highway with an active warrant.

OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM — AT 9:19 p.m., Daniel B. Saipher, 27, of Canterbury Road, New Milford, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Main Street with a registration expired on June. 14, 2010 and no insurance. The report says Saipher knew of the status.
BREACH OF PEACE, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 4:21 p.m., police were called to a fight in front of Forest City Liquor in which Gabriel Colon, 28, of Grand Street fought with another man who he walked up to without provocation, the report says, and punched the victim in the face and screamed at him. Colon fled and witnesses gave police a description so when they found him an hour later on the street, he said he was conducting "street justice." The report says Colon was brought to Middlesex Hospital for detoxification.
OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 9:03 p.m., Rachel Fauteaux, 25, of Garden Street was driving a Volkswagen Jetta on Newfield Street by Christ Lutheran Church and made an illegal U-turn in front of a police officer, the report says. Fateaux parked in the church lot.

OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, FAILS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, FAILURE TO HAVE LIGHTS LIT — At 8:43 a.m., Amy Kaszycki, 31, of Thomas Street was driving a Chevy Corsica on College Street with a broken front right headlight. The report says Kaszycki told police she bought the car two days before.

OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 6:42 p.m., Robert B. Cameron, 33, of Stack Street was driving a Pontiac Grand Am on Broad Street with a broken rear marker light.
