Sgt. Kenneth Rigney and Detective Michael Grieder from the state police's Office of Counter Terrorism Critical Infrastructure Unit will be answering questions from Patch readers on school security Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. on a Cover It Live blog.
Readers will be able to submit questions to the officers during the moderated conversation.
While this conversation will center around school security improvements in the wake of the Newtown tragedy, state police will not be answering questions about the Newtown investigation or what happened that day.
The Office of Counter Terrorism Critical Infrastructure Unit assesses security threats at critical public and private buildings, including schools, according to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection website.
