Middletown Police report the following arrests:
March 28
SECOND-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, BREACH OF PEACE, VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — Police were called to a home on Thomas Street about a disturbance after an anonymous called told 911 he/she heard a male and female arguing loudly inside an apartment. In the hallway, the victim, crying uncontrollably, told police Steven J. Vinci, 25, of Woodbury Circle, who was bleeding from both hands, "needs to stop this. It's over," according to the report. The victim told officers she was "hanging out" with a male friend in her apartment when her bedroom window was smashed.
Outside was Vinci, saying things like, "are you [expletive] kidding me" and insults; to which the victim said their relationship was over. Then, the report says, Vinci came inside, verbally abused her and refused to leave. Their child, the report says, was asleep through the whole incident. Vinci told officers he came over to see whom she was in a relationship with and admitted to breaking the window, but went inside only to find out the man's name.

Henderson, 27, of Spencer Drive was driving a Toyota Camry on Church Street at a high speed. The report says the car swerved over the double-yellow line and as police activated the cruiser lights, Henderson drove onto Crescent Street and into a narrow alleyway into the back parking lot of the Middletown Masonic Lodge. Hospital security flagged down the officer, the report says, indicating the Camry was parked behind "Hogan House." Henderson denied eluding police and said he was visiting his sister who had cerebral palsy at Middlesex Hospital and was "slumped over" in the driver's seat.
Once questioned and told the police would contact the hospital the report says, Henderson said, "well, that's what my mom told me, I don't know if it's true."
