Middletown Police report the following incidents:
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — On Aug. 9 at 11:48 a.m., Lewis Nicholas, 19, of Ferry Street was in a verbal fight with his mother, and, the reports says, hit her in the back of the head, spit at her and punched her mouth. Police say there were no signs of injury; Nicholas denied doing so but a witness confirmed the acts.
THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — On Aug. 9 at 4:41 p.m., Jonathan Dumais, 34, of Burr Avenue was at Bob's Stores on East Main Street and store security called police on a larceny. He was found with an outstanding warrant.
THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — On Aug. 6 at 5:31 p.m., Lynne Zgoda, 46, of Washington Street was in the Middlesex Hospital emergency room, when, the report says, she became very upset and slammed a door, causing the doorknob to break through the sheetrock wall. Staff said the damage was $100.
